Dr Rashmi Chakraborty began her medical journey in India in 1992. She relocated to England in 1998 and pursued her psychiatry training in Sheffield. After qualifying as a psychiatrist in 2004, she moved to Oxford and specialised in child and adolescent psychiatry, completing her training in 2011.
Following her qualification, Dr Chakraborty worked within the Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust from 2011 to 2019. For the last four years of her NHS service, she held the role of Clinical Lead for the Buckinghamshire Neurodevelopmental Pathway. Now, she operates exclusively in the Independent Sector, offering focused and flexible support through the Priory Wellbeing Centre Oxford.
Dr Chakraborty holds the MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) and MRCPsych (Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists) qualifications. She stays updated with medical advancements through continual professional development and regular feedback from patients, families, and peers.
