Anna Maratos Psychotherapists London offers a distinctive relational approach to psychotherapy, focusing on understanding and resolving barriers to sustaining meaningful relationships. With over two decades of experience, I provide both individual sessions and carefully composed therapy groups, ensuring a supportive environment tailored to each client's needs.
Therapy is a collaborative journey. We delve into current issues by exploring early family life, educational experiences, social interactions, race, ethnicity, and sexuality. This comprehensive exploration helps uncover buried feelings that influence self-perception and relationships.
We offer one-on-one sessions and small group therapies, providing spaces where clients can reflect on their experiences and interactions. These sessions aim to foster self-awareness and promote healthier relationships.
After over 20 years in the NHS, I established a private practice in London. My roles have included Lead for Group Psychotherapy and Senior Therapy Advisor across one of the UK’s largest mental health trusts. I also facilitate reflective meetings for management teams, bringing a wealth of experience to my private practice.
