Dr Ann Watts Neuropsychologist Bulwer describes a practice with over 30 years of experience in clinical psychology and neuropsychology. Dr Ann D. Watts completed her Ph.D. in Neuropsychology at the University of Natal in 1990. She also registered as a Clinical Psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) in 1990. In 1991 and 1992, she completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Neuropsychology at the University of Natal.
Since 1994, Dr Watts has practised at Entabeni Hospital, Durban. She focuses on neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation. Over the years, she has also worked as a visiting lecturer at the Universities of Zululand and Free State. In addition, she has worked as an academic expert at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN).
Dr Karl D. Swain, Clinical Psychologist, joined the practice with expertise in neuropsychology, traumatic stress, and mood disorders. He completed his Masters in Clinical Psychology (cum laude) in 2008 and his Ph.D. in Neuropsychology in 2017 at UKZN. He currently serves as a Lecturer and Academic and Clinical Coordinator in the Department of Behavioural Medicine at UKZN.
Ms Vanitha Karien, Registered Counsellor, has worked with the practice since 2000. She earned her BA Honours degree in Psychology and is registered with the HPCSA. Vanitha provides counselling and psychological support to children, adults, and families.
