Dr Eric Grimm GP UK Brighton leads a dedicated team at Saltdean & Rottingdean Medical Practice, serving over 12,500 patients on the outskirts of Brighton. We provide both telephone and face-to-face consultations, ensuring accessibility and flexibility for our patients.
Moreover, our practice hosts a multidisciplinary team that includes 10 GPs, 5 nurses, a clinical pharmacist, a paramedic, and several mental health and well-being specialists. As a result, patients receive well-rounded care tailored to a variety of medical needs.
Our clinic delivers a comprehensive range of services that support ongoing and preventive care.
Chronic Disease Clinics such as Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, Stroke, and Heart Disease are offered with annual reviews. Patients receive timely invitations and should attend for optimal care. Consequently, early detection and consistent monitoring improve long-term health.
Child immunisations take place every Wednesday afternoon. These appointments are crucial for safeguarding children’s health and preventing disease.
Furthermore, we offer Over-75s Health Checks, conducted annually, covering basic metrics like height, weight, and blood pressure. Similarly, the NHS Lifestyle Check is available to patients aged 40–74 without a chronic disease diagnosis. In addition, these checks occur every five years and include fasting blood tests and a general health assessment.
Our trained phlebotomists run blood test clinics each weekday morning. Therefore, patients must bring the appropriate documents and have prior authorisation from a GP or consultant. Additionally, our practice does not offer blood tests to children under 12. These are instead handled by the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital.
Cytology (Smear Tests) are strongly recommended for women aged 25–65. Likewise, patients should ideally book these tests mid-cycle. Appointments can be made after receiving a notification from the NHS.
We also provide Cryotherapy Clinics for wart removal once a month. However, patients must be pre-assessed by a doctor or nurse practitioner.
Moreover, we offer routine dressings and stitch removal, supporting wound healing and recovery. Hence, these services ensure that patients receive complete follow-up care.
