Consequently, he gained experience in paediatrics and obstetrics early in his career. He completed a Diploma of Obstetrics in 1991. Furthermore, he trained in General Practice in Ipswich and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1995. He has practiced in Ipswich for over 30 years, building expertise and trust with his patients.
