Dr Richard Webb GP UK Brighton leads the team at Saltdean & Rottingdean Medical Practice, where we care for over 12,500 patients on the edge of Brighton. We offer flexible appointments either by phone or face to face, depending on your needs.
Furthermore, our team includes 10 experienced GPs, 5 skilled nurses, a clinical pharmacist, physiotherapists, mental health workers, and a paramedic. As a result, our patients receive complete, coordinated care across many health concerns.
Our practice provides a range of services designed to support ongoing health and early intervention.
We run Chronic Disease Clinics for conditions such as asthma, COPD, diabetes, stroke, and heart disease. These clinics involve annual reviews, which are essential for effective long-term management. Consequently, regular check-ups help catch complications early and improve outcomes.
In addition, we encourage all invited patients to attend their annual reviews. These sessions are vital to staying on top of your health.
Child immunisations take place every Wednesday afternoon. These are critical to protecting your child against preventable diseases.
Similarly, we offer an Over-75s Health Check, which includes your height, weight, and blood pressure. You can book this with our Health Care Assistant. Moreover, if you're between 40 and 74 and have no chronic conditions, you're eligible for our NHS Lifestyle Check every five years. This includes a fasting blood test and full health screening.
Phlebotomy clinics are open every weekday morning. However, you must bring proper documentation and have prior approval from a GP or hospital consultant. On the other hand, blood tests for children under 12 are only available at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital.
Cytology (Smear Tests) are available for women aged 25 to 65. Ideally, book them mid-cycle. Once notified by the NHS, please call to schedule your test.
We host Cryotherapy Clinics once a month to treat warts. However, you must first consult with a GP or Advanced Nurse Practitioner to assess your suitability.
Additionally, we perform stitch removal and dressings as part of your recovery. Hence, patients receive consistent care through every stage of their treatment.
