Dr Toor GP Leeds UK leads a high-performing medical practice focused on training future GPs and delivering outstanding student healthcare. Our commitment to education and patient care makes us a unique and essential part of the Leeds healthcare community. Consequently, we offer both professional development and exceptional clinical support to over 44,000 students.
GP Registrars are experienced doctors who transition from hospital-based roles into community-focused General Practice. Although they have strong clinical backgrounds, they require practical training in this new setting. For this reason, our practice provides real-world, structured learning experiences under senior supervision.
Moreover, our Registrars work alongside seasoned GPs and engage directly with patients daily. In addition, they receive feedback that helps them refine communication, diagnosis, and case management skills. As a result, they leave our practice ready to lead in primary care environments.
Our practice employs 21 doctors—14 female and 7 male—who bring a wide range of medical knowledge and passion for patient care. Furthermore, every team member shares a commitment to excellence and innovation in General Practice.
Likewise, our doctors enjoy working with students and understand the unique challenges faced by this demographic. Despite the fast pace, they prioritize empathy and continuity of care. For this reason, patients feel respected and supported throughout their healthcare journey.
We proudly serve a student population of more than 44,000 individuals across Leeds. Consequently, our services are designed specifically to meet the healthcare needs of young adults in higher education. These include mental health support, preventative screenings, and chronic condition management.
In addition to our clinical team, we employ over 70 skilled staff who keep the practice running efficiently. Moreover, they ensure that appointments, prescriptions, and follow-ups are handled smoothly and without delays. Hence, our patients receive timely and consistent care.
Although we manage a large number of patients, we maintain a strong personal connection with each individual. In contrast to larger, more impersonal healthcare systems, we focus on continuity, compassion, and quality.
