Jackie Hewitt Cognitive Behavioural Therapist Manchester offers compassionate and effective therapy for adults facing mental health challenges. I focus on helping individuals manage conditions such as depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and anxiety disorders, including obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), panic attacks, phobias, and general anxiety disorder. My approach remains warm and non-judgemental, always prioritizing the development of psychological resilience.
As a dedicated cognitive behavioural therapist and person-centred counsellor, I bring enthusiasm and commitment to every client. I actively support people in reaching their therapeutic goals. By combining evidence-based techniques with empathetic listening, I create a safe space where clients feel understood and empowered. Moreover, I tailor each therapy plan to meet the unique needs of every individual.
Since 2022, I have worked with Priory as both a cognitive behavioural therapist and a person-centred counsellor. This role allows me to provide high-quality mental health support within a respected organization. During this time, I have helped many clients overcome complex psychological difficulties and improve their wellbeing significantly.
I hold a BA (Hons) in English and History from Manchester Metropolitan University. Additionally, I earned a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and an MSc in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with distinction from the University of Salford. To further strengthen my expertise, I completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) focusing on adult learning. These qualifications ensure I stay informed on the latest therapeutic methods.
I provide comprehensive mental health treatment for a wide range of conditions. These include anxiety disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum conditions, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and stress management. My goal remains consistent: to help clients develop skills that improve their daily lives and mental wellbeing.
