I specialize in individual and group psychotherapy, drawing from integrative transpersonal methodologies. As a UKCP-registered psychotherapist and supervisor, I facilitate interpersonal group sessions at Re-Vision and co-lead BAATN’s Heart Hub for queer-identifying individuals. My services extend to celebrancy, where I co-create meaningful ceremonies for partnerships, naming rituals, and end-of-life transitions.
My academic and professional journey includes:
UKCP Advanced Diploma in Integrative Transpersonal Psychotherapy
Diploma in Integrative Transpersonal Counselling (BACP Accredited)
Diploma in Supervision from The Gestalt Centre, London
Certificate in Supervision with Soul from Re-Vision
Diplomas in Funeral, Couples, and Naming Ceremony Celebrancy (RQF)
Currently pursuing a certificate in Intimate Partner Therapy with The Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology
These qualifications underpin my commitment to providing ethically grounded and culturally sensitive therapeutic services.
My written works reflect my dedication to intersectional and queer-informed therapy:
“Sankofa’s Quest: Cultivating Queer, African-Centred Homecomings Through Intersectionality in Therapy” in Relationally Queer: A Pink Therapy Guide for Practitioners (Routledge, 2023)
“A Queer Love Letter” in Therapy In Colour: Intersectional, Anti-Racist and Intercultural Approaches by Therapists of Colour (Jessica Kingsley Publishers, 2023)
These contributions aim to enrich the therapeutic discourse with diverse perspectives and lived experiences.
My practice is rooted in a commitment to social justice and inclusivity. I actively engage with education and social justice agencies, as well as enterprises supporting arts, media, fashion, and culture sector practitioners. By fostering an environment that honors each individual's unique narrative, I strive to facilitate healing and empowerment.
