Manjit Sidhu Psychotherapist London offers a warm, collaborative space for individuals, couples, and families navigating life’s complexities. I believe that therapy should be a place to understand not just the problem, but the system in which it exists. Therefore, I use systemic therapy to examine relationships, communication patterns, and emotional responses from multiple perspectives.
Change often begins outside the therapy room. So, sessions are typically spaced fortnightly or monthly to allow reflection. Between sessions, clients notice changes in how they relate to themselves and others. This approach ensures lasting, meaningful progress.
When life feels stuck, systemic therapy can help uncover the root of recurring issues. I work with clients to explore how family dynamics, cultural backgrounds, and life transitions influence current challenges. This process leads to deeper understanding and emotional relief.
If you're processing trauma, grief, or major change, I incorporate narrative approaches. These techniques help you retell your story in a healing way, leading to acceptance and growth. My method supports healing across emotional, physical, and relational layers of life.
I offer both online sessions and in-person appointments. The flexibility means you can choose what best suits your comfort and schedule. Whether you prefer the familiarity of home or the grounding of a therapy room, we can work together effectively.
Sessions may be short- or long-term depending on your goals. Some clients seek clarity around one issue, while others explore deeper, generational patterns. Either way, the process remains collaborative and empowering.
Clients often choose to work with me because of my cultural curiosity and experience in cross-cultural relationships. I understand the importance of heritage, generational influences, and identity in emotional wellbeing.
I work with individuals, couples, families, sibling groups, and adolescents. In all these relationships, I explore emotional connections and patterns with care and clarity. In both private practice and the NHS, I support clients experiencing trauma, helping them connect body and mind in recovery.
As a UKCP-registered Systemic Psychotherapist, I address a range of issues, including anxiety, bereavement, cultural conflicts, and relationship breakdowns. I also support clients with autism, addiction, spiritual concerns, and employment difficulties.
I supervise and train fellow professionals, staying actively involved in teaching and reflective practice. My passion lies in supporting people to feel more connected and empowered in their lives.
