Tanya Gower Integrative Therapist Southampton offers a holistic approach to mental health and wellbeing. She uses a blend of therapeutic methods tailored to meet individual needs. As an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor, Tanya combines various techniques including person-centred therapy (PCT), psychodynamic therapy, transactional analysis, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing). She works with clients facing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, self-esteem challenges, menopause, grief, loss, and bereavement. Moreover, she has a special interest in helping autistic individuals develop their authentic selves. This wide range allows Tanya to customize her therapy effectively.
Tanya understands the struggles people face and recognizes the importance of professional support. Tanya has a keen interest in the supervisory counselling relationship. In 2022, she conducted research exploring how environmental changes, such as the pandemic, influenced these relationships. Her findings contribute to evolving professional practices.
