Tayla has a strong focus on dance podiatry, managing injuries and chronic issues affecting ballet dancers, artistic athletes, and performers. She works with clients of all experience levels—from young beginners to seasoned professionals. Because of her firsthand experience with dancing and athletics, Tayla understands how foot health directly impacts performance and well-being.
She holds advanced certifications in pointe shoe fitting, pre-pointe assessments, Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), and strength and conditioning. Furthermore, Tayla utilizes innovative techniques such as advanced dry needling, acupuncture, radial shockwave therapy, and sports taping to promote healing and performance.
Tayla’s path to podiatry began with her own struggles with foot pain, corns, and ingrown toenails while dancing, competing in athletics, and playing netball. She spent years enduring injuries until a referral to a skilled podiatrist changed her perspective—and her future. This experience inspired her to pursue a Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine at Western Sydney University.
Her passion stems from that life-changing appointment. She values the deep impact podiatry can have and now strives to provide the same transformation for others.
Tayla places high importance on professional development. In addition to her university qualifications, she has completed several certifications focused on diverse patient needs, including disability-focused care. She also holds an ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning certification, which supports her holistic, movement-based approach to recovery and injury prevention.
She stays updated with the latest research and trends, ensuring her patients receive evidence-based, effective treatments every time.
Tayla understands the importance of clear communication, empathy, and collaboration. She tailors each consultation to the individual, focusing on comfort, functionality, and long-term success. Her goal is to empower patients to move better and live pain-free.
Outside of her clinical work, Tayla enjoys RAD ballet classes, gym training, reading, traveling, and connecting with people. Her commitment to movement and health is not just professional—it’s personal and lifelong.
