Tess Clisby is a dedicated podiatrist practising in Adelaide, who joined the Posture Podiatry team in October 2019. She graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Podiatry in 2014. Early in her career, Tess gained valuable experience working locally at Glandore Podiatry Clinic and Tripod Podiatry Clinic, where she refined her clinical skills until 2016.
Seeking to broaden her horizons, Tess then spent two years practising in London. Between December 2016 and December 2018, she worked at Foothealth Battersea and Leyton Foot Clinic, where she treated a diverse range of patients. Notably, Tess also had the opportunity to work alongside Tom Kolesnik, now the Clinical Director at Posture Podiatry, during his time in London. This international experience enriched Tess’s approach to podiatry, exposing her to varied techniques and perspectives.
Tess offers comprehensive podiatric care that addresses a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions. Her services include:
General Foot Care
Tess provides routine nail and skin care, managing common concerns such as fungal infections, ingrown toenails, and callus build-up with meticulous attention to detail.
Biomechanical Assessment and Gait Analysis
Utilising advanced assessment techniques, Tess evaluates walking and running patterns to diagnose underlying causes of pain or injury. She then develops personalised treatment plans to restore function and comfort.
Orthotic Therapy
Based on thorough biomechanical evaluations, Tess prescribes custom orthoses designed to support proper alignment and reduce strain on the feet and legs.
Sports Injury Management
Tess has a strong interest in helping athletes recover from injuries and improve performance. Her experience in both Australia and the UK has equipped her to manage sports-related foot and lower limb issues effectively.
Tess’s international career not only expanded her clinical knowledge but also strengthened her adaptability and understanding of diverse patient needs. Working alongside respected colleagues such as Tom Kolesnik in London helped her develop a collaborative approach to treatment.
Back in Adelaide, Tess continues to apply these experiences in her practice. She remains committed to providing tailored, evidence-based care that empowers patients to maintain an active and comfortable lifestyle. Whether you require general foot care or advanced biomechanical intervention, Tess Clisby offers thorough, compassionate support to help you reach your goals.
