Ilana Kok Specialist Wellness Counsellor Centurion offers professional support to help individuals grow, heal, and manage life challenges with confidence.
Established in 2016, Ilana Kok built her practice with a clear goal. She aims to empower people through effective therapy. She uses a person-centred and non-directive approach. As a result, clients feel safe and supported during their journey. She is registered and licensed with the ASCHP. In addition, she has used Mind Moves techniques in her work since 2021.
Ilana focuses on each client as a unique individual. She listens carefully and guides without pressure. Therefore, clients can explore their thoughts and emotions at their own pace. This approach builds trust and encourages real progress.
Moreover, she creates a calm and welcoming space. Clients can speak openly without fear of judgment. Because of this, many people feel more confident as they move forward.
Ilana provides a wide range of services for adults. These services include coping skills, trauma debriefing, and grief counselling. She also offers individual counselling and support during personal crises.
In addition, she facilitates group trauma debriefing sessions. She uses Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) for adults to help process difficult experiences. Furthermore, she works as an employee wellness consultant, supporting workplaces and teams.
Ilana also works closely with children. She offers child-centered play therapy and grief therapy. These methods help children express emotions in a safe and natural way.
She also provides Voice of the Child assessments. These assessments give insight into a child’s emotional needs. In addition, she uses TIR techniques for children who have experienced trauma.
Ilana Kok holds strong academic qualifications. She earned a diploma in visual communication from The Open Window Institute for Arts and Digital Sciences in 2004. Later, she completed a BA degree in Psychology, Criminology, and Research Methodology at the University of Pretoria in 2014.
