Additional Information

Isabel Mischke:

Isabel decided to specialise in hand and upper limb injuries after sustaining a hand injury in her final year of occupational therapy studies in 2001. She gained valuable experience at King’s College Hospital in London before returning to South Africa in 2004 to start Mischke Occupational Therapists. Isabel completed her Master’s degree in hand therapy and has been practising at Mediclinic Kloof and Netcare Unitas Hospital since then. She has also contributed to student training and lecturing at the University of Stellenbosch and the University of Pretoria.

Jani Tromp:

Jani graduated from the University of Pretoria with a BOccTher degree in 2007. After completing her Community Service year at JST Hospital in Rustenburg, she initiated a hand therapy program to address the increasing need for hand therapy. Jani joined Mischke Occupational Therapists in 2016, bringing her extensive experience in physical, neurological, and hand rehabilitation.

Madelé Stroebel:

Madelé graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2019. And completed her community service year at Tembisa Public Hospital. Thereafter, she gained experience in neurological and upper limb rehabilitation before joining Mischke Occupational Therapists in September 2021. Madelé is known for her welcoming and warm personality, making her a valuable addition to the team.
