Founded in 2008 by Jacklynn Langkilde and Jacqui Jorge, Sensory Matters is a paediatric occupational therapy practice dedicated to helping children thrive. Specialising in early intervention and prevention, the team supports children of all ages, focusing on sensory integration and practical, functional solutions.

Sensory Matters empowers children and families to reach their full potential through a holistic approach. This includes tailored therapy, education for parents and teachers, and strategies for home use. Building strong relationships is central to their process, and they continuously incorporate new tools to enhance their care.

Additionally, Sensory Matters shares their expertise through workshops for families, teachers, and fellow therapists. They are committed to high-quality, personalised care that makes a lasting impact on children’s lives.

Sensory Matters serves Benoni, Bedfordview (at Therapyworx), and surrounding schools in Benoni, Bedfordview, and Edenvale. A satellite practice is also available at Learning Path in Edenvale.
