Dr L Varkel is an experienced Specialist Physician based in Cape Town. He graduated from the University of Cape Town (UCT) in 2002 and completed his specialist training in Internal Medicine at Groote Schuur Hospital in 2010. Since entering private practice, Dr Varkel has worked at Christiaan Barnard Memorial Hospital and its modern facility on the Cape Town Foreshore.
He is registered with both the Health Professions Council of South Africa and the General Medical Council of the UK, and provides a holistic approach to patient care, with access to local specialists and UCT colleagues.
