Dr Jacques Doubell is a compassionate and highly skilled cardiologist, offering advanced cardiovascular care with a focus on patient education and holistic treatment. He graduated with his MBChB from Stellenbosch University and went on to complete a Fellowship in Internal Medicine (FCP) and MMed (Stell). He also holds a cardiology qualification (Cert Cardio) and an MPhil in Cardiology. In 2024, Dr Doubell began practicing at Durbanville Mediclinic after serving as a consultant cardiologist at Tygerberg Hospital.

Dr Doubell’s academic achievements include receiving the Francie van Zyl Medal for the best MBChB student, being recognised as the best final-year medical student in cardiology, and completing the RC Fraser International Fellowship in Cardiovascular Intervention at St Thomas’ Hospital in London. He has contributed significantly to research on valvular heart disease and coronary angiography.
