About

Dr John Benjamin is a Sandton-based cardiologist with extensive experience, having earned his MBBCH from the University of Witwatersrand and become a Fellow of the College of Physicians of South Africa. He is also qualified to practice in Louisiana. Dr Benjamin studied echocardiography at Brompton Chest Hospital in London, later establishing South Africa’s first echocardiography laboratory at Johannesburg Hospital. He then went on to manage cardiac catheterisation at the same hospital before moving into private practice, founding a cardiac unit at the Morningside Clinic in Sandton.

Additional Information

Dr Benjamin is a past committee member of the Cardiac Practitioners Society of South Africa and regularly lectures and participates in international clinical trials.
