Dr Theshenthree Govender is a highly experienced psychiatrist, specialising in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of psychiatric illnesses. She completed her MBCHB at the Medical University of South Africa in 1999 and later obtained her post-graduate degree in psychiatry from the Nelson Mandela School of Medicine.

Dr Govender’s psychiatric training began at Addington Hospital in 2003, and she earned her specialist degree from the Colleges of Medicine South Africa in 2006. She practised at King Edward Hospital’s Department of Psychiatry before transitioning to private practice in 2009. Dr Govender currently runs her specialist practice at Life Entabeni Hospital and Lenmed Ethekwini Hospital and Heart Centre.
