Dr. Herman Bekker

Originally from the Eastern Cape, Dr. Bekker returned to take over Dentists at Health Summerstrand in 2022 after the passing of the beloved Dr. Frik Claasen. He qualified at the University of Pretoria in 2016 and continued to complete his postgraduate certificate in Oral Implantology in 2017. After this He obtained two more postgraduate diplomas: one in Prosthodontics at the University of Pretoria in 2020 and the second in Laser Dentistry at the RWTH Aachen University in Germany in 2022. He is set to complete his third postgraduate diploma in Maxillofacial Radiology at the University of the Western Cape in 2023. Passionate about dentistry, Dr. Bekker follows a comprehensive and modern approach to dental care, ensuring long-lasting results and many happy smiles. Outside of work, he enjoys travelling with his wife, aviation, photography, outdoor activities, and fly fishing.
