About

Dr Portia Nethononda is a dedicated prosthodontist based in Centurion, passionate about transforming lives by creating beautiful smiles and ensuring optimal oral health. With a deep understanding of the impact of dental aesthetics and function on self-confidence, she provides expert care tailored to individual needs.

Dr Portia obtained her BSc and BDS qualifications from MEDUNSA (now SMU) in 1999 and 2004, respectively. She gained valuable experience working in both public and private sectors in Limpopo before obtaining a postgraduate Diploma in Dentistry (PDD) from UWC in 2008. In 2014, she joined the University of Pretoria’s Oral and Dental Hospital, working in the prosthodontics department. In 2020, she qualified as a prosthodontist from the University of Pretoria, specialising in full mouth rehabilitations. Alongside her private practice, she actively contributes to academia by mentoring undergraduate dental students.
