Eden Smith Physiotherapist Panorama provides personalised physiotherapy to help patients recover from injuries, manage pain, improve movement, and support long-term health. Whether you are recovering from an injury, preparing for surgery, managing chronic pain, or seeking women’s health care, Eden supports you every step of the way.
Eden completed her Physiotherapy degree at the University of the Free State in 2015. Since then, she has gained experience in both government and private healthcare. Her main interests include sports injuries, orthopaedic conditions, and women’s health. She also places strong focus on patient education and rehabilitation.
Eden uses a holistic and personalised approach. Therefore, she creates treatment plans around each patient’s needs. She also believes that understanding how your body works can help support long-term health and prevent injuries.
Eden treats sports injuries that affect muscles, tendons, and ligaments. She also provides pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation. In addition, she manages orthopaedic conditions such as back, neck, and joint pain. She also treats headaches linked to musculoskeletal issues.
Women can receive pregnancy and postpartum physiotherapy, as well as pelvic health assessments and rehabilitation. Eden also provides recovery support for new mothers.
Home visits are available for new mothers and elderly patients who need care in the comfort of their own homes. Furthermore, treatment sessions can include spinal and joint mobilisations, soft tissue massage, and dry needling.
Eden also uses electrotherapy, including TENS, laser, and ultrasound. Other techniques include kinesiology and rigid taping, movement re-education, exercise rehabilitation, and relaxation techniques. Sessions last approximately 45 minutes.
Medical Aid Rates Apply. Patients settle their accounts and can then claim back from their medical aid. Each treatment plan matches the individual’s needs. As a result, the treatment focuses on long-term recovery and better movement.
