At Julia Šmigelskis Physiotherapy, we provide expert physiotherapy services with a focus on orthopaedic rehabilitation, neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy, and sports performance. Based in Diep River and Paarden Eiland, our practice is dedicated to helping individuals recover from injury, manage pain, and optimise performance.
Julia is a qualified sport physiotherapist with a Master’s degree in Exercise and Sport Physiotherapy from the University of Cape Town. Her career began in Austria, where she worked in an orthopaedic and neurological rehabilitation hospital. After moving to South Africa in 2014, she became a neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapist and later pursued her Master’s degree to deepen her expertise in sports physiotherapy.
Julia has a particular passion for climbing-related physiotherapy, with a special interest in assessing and treating finger injuries. Whether you are recovering from an injury or looking to improve your climbing performance, Julia’s approach is tailored to meet your unique needs.
