Dr Piet Botha is a highly experienced orthodontist dedicated to providing exceptional orthodontic care. He qualified as a dentist at the University of Pretoria in 1972 and spent two years in England as a general dentist before returning to Pretoria in 1974 to specialise in orthodontics. By 1977, he had qualified as a specialist orthodontist. Over the years, he has practised in association with esteemed colleagues, including Dr Fanie Nel and Dr Bertus van Niekerk.

Dr Botha pioneered specialist orthodontic services in the Western Transvaal (now North West Province), maintaining a branch practice in Potchefstroom for 26 years before transferring it to Dr Alfred Dippenaar in 2003. His commitment to education is evident in his long-standing academic involvement with the University of Pretoria, where he trained and mentored future orthodontists until 2020.

As a founding member of the PRETOS Orthodontic Study Club, Dr Botha continuously stays updated with the latest advancements in orthodontics. His passion for Functional Jaw Orthopaedics and Adult Orthodontic Treatment ensures that patients receive expert care tailored to their needs.
