Dr. Wertheimer offers orthodontic and dentofacial orthopaedic treatment for children, teens and adults. His services include teeth alignment, bite improvement, custom treatment plans, aesthetic treatment, jaw growth correction and early facial development care.
Treatment options include metal and ceramic braces, lingual braces hidden behind the teeth, and clear aligners such as Invisalign and Spark. He also provides interdisciplinary care with oral surgeons, cosmetic dentists and other specialists when combined orthodontic and restorative treatment can improve facial aesthetics.
His awards include the prestigious Colgate Prize (IADR), “Best Reviewer of the Year” from the Asia Pacific Orthodontic Society, and Honorary Life Membership of the Lebanese Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Wertheimer also works with the Smile Foundation and various orphanages to provide orthodontic care for children in need. This includes children with complex craniofacial conditions such as cleft lip and palate.
The first appointment includes dental and facial assessment, medical history review and treatment discussions. Next, digital X-rays, photographs and intra-oral scans help create a customised plan. Treatment planning then covers procedures, financial information and payment options.
Regular appointments take place every 4–8 weeks to monitor progress and make adjustments. Patients should also continue routine dental check-ups with their family dentist. Dr. Wertheimer provides oral hygiene guidance and an oral hygiene kit for patients using braces or aligners.
The practice uses low-radiation digital X-rays and intra-oral scanning for improved impressions. Patients can also enjoy music, WiFi and TV during treatment.
Facially influenced diagnostics help ensure that tooth alignment complements overall facial aesthetics. In addition, regular global orthodontic courses help Dr. Wertheimer use the latest treatment techniques. Teen and adult patients can choose discreet and comfortable options, while early intervention monitors children’s dental development from age 7 to help prevent future complications.
Dr. Mark Wertheimer provides expert orthodontic care in a state-of-the-art facility. Whether patients need braces, clear aligners or dentofacial orthopaedic treatment, the goal remains a functional bite and a beautiful, confident smile.
