About Dr. Waldemar Szpak

Dr. Waldemar Szpak is a skilled clinical and radiation oncologist with extensive experience in cancer care. Originally from Poland, he moved to South Africa in 1992. His passion for oncology has led him to help many patients achieve the best possible treatment outcomes.

Dr. Szpak began his medical journey in Poland, specialising in internal medicine. After moving to the UK to further his oncology career, he returned to South Africa and founded Rainbow Oncology. Dr. Szpak is dedicated to providing excellent care, guided by his passion and expertise.

Dr. Szpak is an active member of the South African Oncology Consortium. He served as Chairman from 2010 to 2015. His dedication to advancing cancer treatment in South Africa drives his work at Rainbow Oncology.

When not at work, Dr. Szpak enjoys spending time with his family, including his three cats and grandchildren. He also enjoys bonsai cultivation and mountain biking.
