Getting Started: The Initial Assessment

Before beginning therapy, Claire offers a three-session assessment process. This initial phase includes:

  • Identifying Key Areas of Focus: Helping clients recognise which aspects of their life may require attention.
  • Determining Suitability for Therapy: Ensuring that the timing and therapeutic journey align with the client’s current needs.
  • Selecting the Best Therapeutic Approach: Assessing which methods will be most effective in supporting the client’s personal growth and well-being.

This assessment phase is a valuable opportunity for clients to explore their challenges and gain clarity about their goals in therapy. It also allows both the client and Claire to determine whether they are a good fit for working together.
