Samuel Waumsley is an experienced clinical psychologist practising in Observatory, Cape Town. He holds an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Cape Town (2010) and a variety of other qualifications including a B.A. (Hons) and B.Soc.Sci. Hons from UCT. Samuel trained at the UCT Child Guidance Clinic in 2008, where he specialised in psychodynamic and humanistic psychotherapy. Since 2012, he has maintained a successful private practice and is HPCSA-registered.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Samuel published a review in the South African Journal of Psychology in 2010. The article focused on therapy outcomes at the UCT Child Guidance Clinic between 1997 and 2007, particularly regarding social class and therapy access.
