Dr. John Turner is an experienced physician specializing in Critical Care and Palliative Care. He graduated from the University of Cape Town (UCT) in 1980 with an MBChB and later obtained his MMed and MD degrees. Dr. Turner completed his internship at Victoria Hospital in Wynberg and trained in Internal Medicine at Groote Schuur Hospital, earning his FCP specialist qualification in 1988.

Dr. Turner’s extensive career also includes training in Intensive Care at both Groote Schuur Hospital and Royal Brompton Hospital in London. Since 1995, he has been practicing at Life Kingsbury Hospital as a Physician and Critical Care Specialist. Additionally, Dr. Turner serves as an Honorary Senior Lecturer and Consultant in the Department of Medicine at Groote Schuur Hospital. He also holds the position of Honorary Visiting Consultant at Royal Brompton Hospital in London.
