About Dr. Katlego Magaela

Dr. Katlego Magaela is a dedicated Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Dr SK Matseke Memorial Hospital in Diepkloof, Soweto. She is passionate about pregnancy care and women’s health. Dr. Magaela received her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pretoria in 2010. Her interest in women’s health grew during her internship at Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital in 2011.

Dr. Magaela joined the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department at Klerksdorp Hospital in 2013 as a community service medical officer. She completed her postgraduate training at the University of Pretoria in 2017 and worked as a specialist at Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital until 2022. In 2020, Dr. Magaela began practising at Dr SK Matseke Memorial Hospital, where she continues to provide excellent care to women in the community.
