At All-In Counselling Collective, Kimberlee L. Bateman brings both professional expertise and personal experience to the therapeutic process. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Canadian Certified Counsellor, Kimberlee has dedicated her life to understanding the complexities of human emotion and trauma. With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, she is passionate about helping individuals reconnect with their core selves and achieve lasting healing.
Kimberlee’s approach is informed by her own lived experience. She understands the importance of empathy and connection, having walked her own healing journey. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her five children, grandchildren, and family, who share her love for gaming and movies. Nature, travel, puzzles, and horses are also her passions. Kimberlee is a lifelong learner, continually honing her skills through advanced training both locally and abroad.
Kimberlee offers a range of services designed to help individuals from the age of 12 and upwards navigate life’s challenges. Whether you’re dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, or relational difficulties, Kimberlee creates a supportive environment that fosters growth and healing.
Kimberlee offers 50-minute counselling sessions for $140 or extended 75-minute sessions for $180. Both in-person and virtual appointments are available to suit your needs.
Specialising in relationally focused trauma therapy, Kimberlee helps individuals understand the impact of trauma on their lives and work towards healing through a trauma-informed, holistic approach. This method helps clients reconnect with their thoughts, emotions, body, and nervous system.
For couples, Kimberlee is trained in the Gottman Method, which provides scientifically-backed tools for enhancing communication, emotional connection, and conflict resolution.
Kimberlee also offers Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) workshops to help families improve communication, emotional regulation, and understanding.
As a CVAP-registered counsellor, Kimberlee assists clients who have experienced crime or sexual assault, offering support through the Crime Victim Assistance Program. This service is specifically designed to help victims and their families cope with the effects of violent crime.
Kimberlee uses a relationally focused trauma therapy approach, understanding that our need for belonging and acceptance is central to our survival. When these relational needs are threatened, it can lead to unhelpful and painful behaviours. By addressing these relational aspects, Kimberlee helps clients understand the root causes of their suffering.
Her therapeutic methods include a combination of techniques such as:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Somatic Experiencing (SE)
Trauma Integrating Flow Therapy (TIFT)
Family Systems Therapy
Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
Kimberlee specialises in a wide range of areas, including:
