Developed in 1984 by physiotherapists Simon Borg-Olivier and Bianca Machliss, Yoga Synergy blends traditional Hatha Yoga with contemporary anatomical understanding. This method ensures that students move in ways that are both safe and nourishing for the body, creating a strong and balanced foundation for all forms of movement practice.
The Yoga Synergy system offers progressively structured sequences designed to suit beginners while providing depth and challenge for experienced practitioners. Our courses include the Five Elements Series, which feature intelligent preparation, counter-postures, and intermediate forms, including advanced asanas from the Ashtanga system. For those seeking a dynamic fusion of yoga and martial arts, Budokon Yoga offers an exciting and innovative approach. Originating from the teachings of martial arts master Cameron Shayne, this style focuses on fluid transitions between postures, rather than static holds.
Budokon classes integrate strength training, mobility work, animal locomotion drills, and full-range joint movement, offering both mental engagement and physical challenge. It is particularly popular with surfers and athletes looking for an effective cross-training method.
Rooted in the breath-centred Ashtanga Vinyasa system, our Vinyasa Yoga classes offer a graceful and flowing sequence of postures synchronised with the breath. Classes are structured around sound anatomical principles to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Each teacher brings their own creative touch to the sequences, offering variety while maintaining the fundamental principles of mindful movement, functional alignment, and meditative focus.
Beginner Classes
