Suzy Ross Physiotherapist Manchester is not just a name – it represents years of experience, dedication, and a passion for helping people recover and thrive. From her early days as a competitive gymnast, Suzy developed a deep respect for the power of physiotherapy. Injuries were part of her journey, but so were the professionals who helped her bounce back. That firsthand experience fueled her drive to enter the world of sports medicine.
Growing up, Suzy’s active lifestyle meant frequent visits to physios. While others might have been discouraged, she found herself fascinated by the healing process. As a result, she pursued a degree in Physiotherapy at Sheffield Hallam University. In 2001, she proudly graduated with BSc Hons in Physiotherapy, ready to turn her interest into a career.
After graduation, Suzy quickly immersed herself in private practice. She treated a wide range of clients and conditions, sharpening her skills daily. Later, her career took a dynamic turn when she became Head Physio at Stockport Rugby Union Club. Working with athletes pushed her to think faster, work smarter, and continually adapt.
Her reputation for precision and care led her to Manchester City Football Club. Here, she met her future husband, Jeff Ross. Together, they worked closely with young talent at the City Academy. Suzy’s passion only grew stronger as she later joined Jeff at Sale Sharks, bringing her high-level sports therapy skills to the rugby field. This phase marked a significant chapter in her career as Suzy Ross Physiotherapist Manchester.
No two days are the same for Suzy. She thrives on the variety that physiotherapy offers. Whether she’s helping a young athlete return to competition or working with someone recovering from surgery, her goal remains the same—get them back to doing what they love. You’ll find her now at our Wilmslow clinic, continuing to inspire patients with her expertise and energy.
