At Success Physiotherapy Balerno, we are passionate about providing expert physiotherapy care for children across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. Led by Hazel Lee, a highly experienced Children’s Physiotherapist, we place the needs of your child and family at the very heart of everything we do.
Hazel brings over 25 years of experience to her role, having worked extensively in both the NHS and private practice. For more than two decades, she has focused solely on children’s physiotherapy. Hazel holds an Honours degree in Physiotherapy, is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, the Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists, and is fully registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
Our approach is centred on partnership — therapy is always tailored around the unique requirements of each child and family to ensure the best possible outcomes.
We specialise in providing physiotherapy for children with a wide range of needs, including:
Neurological conditions
Delayed developmental milestones
Rehabilitation following illness or injury
Management of chronic fatigue and chronic pain
Each session is designed to be engaging, supportive, and fun, creating a positive environment where children feel comfortable and motivated. Our goal is to make physiotherapy an enjoyable part of your child’s journey to better health.
At Success Physiotherapy Balerno, we believe therapy should never be one-size-fits-all. Each child is assessed individually, and therapy plans are carefully crafted to match their specific goals and challenges. We take the time to build trust with both our young patients and their families, ensuring that everyone feels heard and involved at every stage.
Our sessions combine expert clinical knowledge with creative activities to keep children engaged, building strength, coordination, and confidence along the way.
In addition to developmental therapy, we have considerable experience supporting children who require rehabilitation after illness or injury. This includes tailored programmes to address mobility challenges, improve strength, and restore independence.
We also offer specialist support for managing conditions such as chronic fatigue syndrome and persistent pain, providing children with strategies to live healthier, more active lives.
