Description

Caitlin Eagle – Registered Counsellor – Bergvliet

Dr. Caitlin Eagle practices as a Registered Counsellor at Bergvliet Family Practice. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2015. Following that, she completed a teaching qualification at Stellenbosch University, which honed her communication skills. Moreover, she pursued an Honours in Educational Psychology in 2017, deepening her understanding of developmental processes and learning needs.

Subsequently, Caitlin worked as a learning support therapist and intern educational psychologist across various Cape Town schools. During that time, she developed a versatile toolkit of interventions for children and young adults. Additionally, she and her husband train their Labrador in Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT), which enriches her child-centred practice by combining play and therapeutic techniques.

Currently, she is completing a Master’s degree focused on sexuality education in schools, which she expects to finish in 2025. As a result, her sessions blend evidence-based methods with engaging, age-appropriate activities. Consequently, every client benefits from both academic insight and practical, hands-on approaches.
