Dr Frits Spruyt is a Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon based in Erasmuskloof. He earned his MBChB from the University of the Free State in 2007 and subsequently completed his FC Plast Surg (SA) in 2017, followed by an MMed (Plast Surg) in 2018 . Moreover, Dr Spruyt undertook advanced microsurgical training under Prof J.F. Jooste in Bloemfontein, which refined his expertise in microsurgical flap reconstruction and complex defect repairs.

Early in his career, he served in Port Elizabeth’s trauma unit, managing acute injuries and burns, and thus built a solid foundation in reconstructive principles.
