About

Novus Health Ltd is an independent healthcare organisation established in 2007 by a group of GP practices across Wakefield and the Five Towns district. Our mission focuses on improving patient care, reducing waiting times, and making healthcare easier to access. Although we serve NHS patients exclusively, we operate independently and are not owned by the NHS.

A board of local General Practitioners and GP practice managers governs our organisation. The original shareholders include NHS-employed GPs and Hospital Specialists who actively support our ongoing development. We work closely with the NHS to deliver local healthcare services in the community, bringing care closer to patients’ homes.

We prioritise patients by employing skilled, professional clinical staff who provide personalised, compassionate care. Furthermore, we collaborate with patients, families, commissioners, and other providers to offer services in convenient and appropriate settings. Our Wakefield hub continues to grow as a trusted provider of local NHS services.
