Dr Daniel Schneeberger is a Clinical & Radiation Oncologist practising at Cancercare Cape Gate in Brackenfell. Moreover, he brings over a decade of specialised oncology experience to his role, focusing on both patient-centred care and cutting-edge treatment techniques cancercare.co.za.

He began his academic journey with a BSc in Biomedical Science and an Honours in Medical Biochemistry, before earning his MBChB from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2012. Subsequently, Dr Schneeberger completed his MMed in Radiation Oncology at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2024, following the award of his Fellowship in Radiation Oncology (FC Rad Onc) in 2022 cancercare.co.za.

His clinical interests include genitourinary, upper gastrointestinal, colorectal, thoracic, and breast malignancies, enabling him to offer focused expertise across a broad tumour spectrum. Additionally, he contributes to Cancercare’s mission by delivering regular community lectures on cancer prevention and healthy living. Outside the clinic, he enjoys trail running and landscape photography, pursuits that reinforce his attention to detail and resilience.
