We All Need To Talk Canterbury

About Us

We All Need To Talk (WANTT) began in 2015 to provide counselling support for adults and young people in Canterbury and nearby areas. Since then, the service has grown significantly. Now, WANTT supports clients across Kent, nationally, and throughout Europe. It achieves this through flexible options including telephone, video platforms like Zoom, and email. This ensures you can access support no matter where you are.

The counsellor at WANTT is a qualified integrative practitioner with a Master Practitioner Advanced Diploma in Eating Disorders and Obesity from the National Centre for Eating Disorders (NCfED). More recently, she completed supervision training, allowing her to offer clinical supervision as well. She works primarily with adults aged 18 and over and has experience in schools, colleges, hospitals (specialist eating disorder units), and the NHS All Age Eating Disorder Service. WANTT offers one-to-one sessions during the day via telephone, video, or email. You can choose short-term therapy lasting 6 to 12 weeks or longer term support based on your needs.

WANTT holds accreditation from the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). It also maintains professional insurance and fully complies with GDPR through registration with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). The counsellor holds an enhanced DBS certificate. Furthermore, WANTT is linked with key organisations such as Beat (the UK’s leading eating disorder charity), NCfED, New Maudsley Carers Kent, Counselling Directory, and Psychology Today. Confidentiality is a priority and will be clearly explained during your first consultation. This session also gives you the chance to ask any questions.
