Millie Nixon is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Cancer Exercise Specialist with a dedicated focus on oncology and women’s health. With years of hands-on experience, she has built a reputation for offering compassionate, evidence-based support to women at all stages of life. For over five years, Millie owned and operated her own clinic in Gawler, where she developed deep community ties and worked closely with individuals navigating complex health journeys.
During this period, Millie completed her postgraduate study in Exercise Oncology at Edith Cowan University (ECU), further cementing her role as a leading professional in the field. She also became a qualified Cancer Exercise Specialist through Ex-MED Cancer, equipping her with advanced skills in delivering safe and effective exercise programs for individuals undergoing or recovering from cancer treatment.
Millie’s passion for women’s health stems not only from her clinical background but also from her personal journey. Following a diagnosis of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and a challenging experience with infertility, she gained a unique and empathetic understanding of the physical and emotional toll these conditions can bring. Eventually becoming a mother herself, Millie has since committed her career to supporting women—no matter their current exercise level—on the path to movement, strength, and confidence.
Millie’s services are carefully tailored to meet the needs of women, especially those managing long-term health concerns or recovering from medical treatment.
Cancer Exercise Rehabilitation
Millie works with clients through every stage of the cancer journey—before, during, and after treatment. She delivers personalised, research-backed programs that improve strength, manage fatigue, and enhance recovery outcomes in a safe, supportive environment.
PCOS and Hormonal Health Support
With firsthand experience managing PCOS, Millie understands the challenges it presents. She guides women through exercise strategies that support hormone balance, weight management, and energy regulation, helping them feel more in control of their health.
Infertility and Pre/Postnatal Support
Millie helps women navigating infertility or postnatal recovery to reconnect with their bodies through gentle, appropriate movement. Her goal is to reduce stress and build strength—both mentally and physically—during life’s most sensitive transitions.
Lifestyle and Movement Coaching
Beyond structured exercise, Millie supports women in creating long-term habits that promote active, joyful living. She offers realistic, flexible plans that fit into each person’s lifestyle and ability level.
Millie brings both empathy and expertise to her work. Her clients appreciate her calm, friendly manner and her commitment to making movement accessible, no matter where someone starts. She firmly believes that exercise should empower—not overwhelm—and works closely with each client to ensure they feel safe and supported every step of the way.
For women seeking to prioritise their wellbeing, recover from illness, or simply take charge of their health, Millie Nixon offers thoughtful, informed care grounded in real-world experience and deep compassion.
