Brodie Price is a skilled prosthetist and a senior clinician at Orthotic Prosthetic Solutions (OPS) in Perth. He graduated from La Trobe University, Melbourne, in 2011 with a Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics. Since then, he has developed a broad clinical portfolio both in Australia and overseas.
He began his career with Fremantle Orthotic Services (FOS) in Western Australia. There, he gained experience in a fast-paced, client-focused setting. However, his drive to contribute more widely soon led him to take on international humanitarian work.
In 2015, Brodie travelled to Nepal to volunteer his skills following the devastating earthquake. He provided prosthetic care to survivors, many of whom had lost limbs in the disaster. This hands-on experience not only broadened his clinical scope but also deepened his understanding of compassionate care.
The following year, Brodie moved to Far North Queensland. He joined a private clinic where he served as the lead prosthetist. His role involved setting up services in the Cairns and Townsville regions. This required him to deliver high-quality care while building strong relationships within local communities.
In 2019, Brodie returned to Western Australia. He joined OPS with a renewed focus on client-centred solutions and service development.
Brodie’s areas of expertise include:
Custom lower and upper limb prosthetics
Trauma-related limb loss rehabilitation
Outreach services for regional and remote areas
Mentoring and clinical leadership within OPS
He approaches each client interaction with empathy and attentiveness. Brodie also believes in balancing function, comfort and personal goals to create the best possible outcomes.
Brodie continues to play an integral role at OPS. He helps expand access to prosthetic services while mentoring junior clinicians and maintaining high standards across the team. His experiences—both local and international—shape his practical yet client-driven style.
Whether supporting a client through recovery or fitting advanced prosthetic solutions, Brodie remains committed to professional growth and compassionate care. His dedication makes him a trusted clinician within the OPS network and a valued member of the broader allied health community.
