Meet Our Team

Hardy Sattler – Sports & Shoulder Specialist
Hardy is a Titled APA Sports Physiotherapist and an Honorary Adjunct Assistant Professor at Bond University. With over 20 years of experience in private practice, he has a deep understanding of injury management.

He was the Consultant Sports Physiotherapist for the Gold Coast Titans (NRL) from 2007 to 2017. He also worked with the Gold Coast Suns (AFL) from 2009 to 2012. Hardy has toured internationally with the Australian Baseball Team, attending multiple World Championships.

He specialises in shoulder and upper limb conditions, knee injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Additionally, Hardy is a director of several leading physiotherapy clinics across the Gold Coast.

Kate O’Connell – Musculoskeletal & Shoulder Expert
Kate is a Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist with 15 years of experience. She focuses on complex musculoskeletal conditions, especially those affecting the lower back, pelvis, and hips.

Moreover, she has a strong interest in shoulder injuries. Kate is a contractor for the Queensland Academy of Sport. She currently supports Australia’s Sprint Kayak and Paracanoe teams as they prepare for Paris 2024.

Kate is also trained in strength and conditioning, as well as Clinical Pilates. Her sessions are tailored, combining hands-on treatment with guided movement and exercise.

Dr Adam Walker – Knee Injury & Research Specialist
Adam is a physiotherapist and director at Gold Coast Knee Group. He recently completed his PhD at Bond University, where he now teaches and conducts research.

His work focuses on knee pain, injury, and recovery after surgery. Adam combines clinical care with academic knowledge. He holds degrees in physiotherapy and exercise science, along with certifications in spinal and sports physiotherapy.

He is also involved in mentoring younger clinicians and pushing research forward. This ensures that his patients benefit from the most current, evidence-based care.
