Evie Chalmers is a committed and enthusiastic Allied Health Assistant (AHA) at Orthomotion. She is currently studying for a Bachelor of Speech Pathology and brings valuable experience in disability support and administration to her role. Her academic background, combined with practical knowledge, supports her ability to provide quality assistance to clients and clinicians alike.
Evie is passionate about communication and language. She hopes to specialise in acquired speech and language disorders once she completes her degree. Her interest in this area informs her approach to supporting clients and motivates her to gain relevant hands-on experience.
Before joining Orthomotion, Evie worked in both disability support and administrative roles. These experiences shaped her understanding of client needs and taught her how to work effectively in a healthcare environment. She brings strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude to every task she takes on.
At Orthomotion, Evie provides essential clinical and administrative support. Her responsibilities include preparing treatment areas, assisting orthotists during appointments, and ensuring that client records are accurate and up to date. In addition to her work at Orthomotion, Evie is a university student representative, demonstrating her leadership skills and dedication to improving the student experience. She also tutors primary and secondary school students in subjects such as literacy, numeracy, and science.
