Activate Physiotherapy Centre has been a trusted part of the Dubbo community for over 30 years. Originally founded in 1989 as John Robins Physiotherapy, the clinic was born from John’s passion for health and movement. After relocating to Dubbo with his wife Janet—who took on the role of Business Manager while also working as a school maths teacher—John opened his own private physiotherapy practice to serve the region’s growing health needs.

In the early 2000s, the practice was renamed Activate Physiotherapy Centre to better represent its core mission: helping people move better and live with less pain. The word Activate captures the spirit of the clinic—restoring mobility, supporting independence, and empowering patients through active rehabilitation.

Today, Activate Physiotherapy Centre continues to uphold these values with a modern, personalised approach to care. Whether you are recovering from an injury, dealing with chronic pain, or simply hoping to move more freely in everyday life, the team at Activate is here to support your goals.
