Andrew Zacharia Physiotherapist Findon graduated from the University of South Australia in 2012 with a Master of Physiotherapy. Before that, he earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement & Health Studies) in 2009. His academic journey continued in 2014 when he completed a Bachelor of Health Science (Honours). During this time, he conducted research with the North Melbourne Kangaroos (AFL) for two seasons. His study focused on preventing and managing lower limb injuries. In 2015, he completed a Master of Musculoskeletal & Sport Physiotherapy. This allowed him to learn from world-renowned physiotherapists, researchers, and health professionals.
Andrew has a strong passion for sports physiotherapy. He provides expert services to various sporting clubs and associations. Currently, he serves as a senior physiotherapist for Metro United Women’s Football Club in the FFSA Women’s National Premier League. He also works with Gaza Football Club in the SAAFL and multiple CrossFit boxes across Adelaide.
Previously, he held roles as a Strength & Conditioning coach and Physiotherapist for North Adelaide and Woodville West Torrens football clubs in the SANFL. Over the years, he has assisted numerous football, soccer, netball, and tennis clubs. His experience ensures athletes receive top-quality care, whether for injury prevention or rehabilitation.
Andrew Zacharia Physiotherapist Findon remains deeply involved in research and education. He is part of a team studying musculoskeletal screening and injury prediction in junior elite footballers (SANFL U18s). His commitment to learning helps improve injury prevention strategies for young athletes.
Beyond research, he provides ongoing education for personal trainers at various Anytime Fitness locations. He also delivers seminars to CrossFit coaches and athletes. Additionally, he has taught within the Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement & Health Studies) program at the University of South Australia. His dedication to sharing knowledge ensures that both athletes and trainers benefit from the latest evidence-based practices.
