Our physiotherapists are experienced in managing a wide range of common conditions such as back and neck pain, helping you to recover, prevent injury, and improve overall function.
Injury Rehabilitation and Sports Physiotherapy
Our physiotherapists create personalised rehabilitation plans to aid recovery from sports injuries or accidents. Using evidence-based techniques, we aim to restore your mobility and reduce pain effectively.
Post-Operative Care
Following surgery, proper rehabilitation is crucial. We offer specialist support to help you regain strength and function, tailored to your specific surgery and recovery goals.
Pelvic Health and Pregnancy Physiotherapy
We provide expert care for pelvic health concerns and pregnancy-related conditions. Our treatments are designed to improve comfort and function during and after pregnancy.
Home-Working Health Checks
With many people working remotely, we offer assessments and advice to improve home workstation ergonomics, helping to prevent work-related musculoskeletal problems.
Online Physiotherapy Appointments
For convenience and safety, our clinic offers virtual consultations. This enables you to access professional advice and guided exercises from your home.
Management of Long-Term Conditions
Chronic pain and long-term musculoskeletal issues can affect your quality of life. Our physiotherapists provide tailored strategies to help manage symptoms and improve daily function.
Our York clinic is situated on the first floor of The Raylor Centre, next to Howdens. It is easily accessible with bus stops on James Street just a two-minute walk away. York train station is approximately a 35-minute walk from the clinic. Upon arrival, please check in at reception on the ground floor and inform them of your appointment with Ascenti.
Please be aware that there are current road closures around The Raylor Centre, so allow extra travel time. While there is no parking for patients directly at The Raylor Centre, visitor bays are available outside Howdens. Note that these bays have a 6-foot car height restriction. Alternatively, several city-centre car parks are within walking distance.
Unfortunately, our treatment rooms do not have disabled access. Patients with access needs should contact our support centre to discuss alternative clinic locations suitable for their requirements.
At Ascenti Physio York, we are committed to providing professional, patient-centred care to help you recover, maintain your health, and achieve your best possible physical wellbeing.
