About Us

At Biolab WA, we are proud of our heritage, shaped by expertise, commitment, and a shared dedication to clinical excellence. Established in the early 1990s, Biolab WA has grown into a respected orthotic laboratory in Western Australia, built on a foundation of high-quality craftsmanship and personal service.

Our story begins with Evelyn, a highly regarded podiatrist who graduated with Distinction from Curtin University in 1989. She completed her Post Graduate studies in 1995 and ran a successful private practice for over two decades. Evelyn’s professional journey was marked by compassion, integrity, and technical excellence. Sadly, she passed away in 2014 following a courageous battle with cancer, leaving behind a legacy of dedication to patient care.

In 1992, Evelyn partnered with Lewis, who began manufacturing orthoses for her clinic. Their shared commitment to quality led to the establishment of Biolab WA. The early philosophy was simple but effective: create high-quality prescription orthoses, and offer a reliable and consistent service to clinicians. Within just six months, Lewis began to receive requests from other podiatrists eager to work with a laboratory they could trust.

As the demand grew, Max De Boni, Evelyn’s brother, joined the team in late 1992. Max has remained an integral part of Biolab WA ever since, contributing his skills and knowledge to the ongoing success of the business.
