Bonolo Mophosho Counselling Psychologist Rivonia

Bonolo Mophosho Counselling Psychologist Rivonia offers a safe and supportive space for healing. I graduated with my Master’s in Community-based Counselling Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2013. My journey as a psychologist has been one of deep growth, learning, and self-discovery. Every client I meet adds to this journey, shaping my approach to therapy.

Therapy should bring a sense of ease, clarity, and empowerment. I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and emotions. Healing takes work, but you do not have to walk the path alone.

Experience Across Diverse Settings

Over the years, I have worked in universities, schools, and corporate environments. These experiences have exposed me to a wide range of psychological challenges. Clients seek therapy for depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, stress, and relationship struggles. Others need support with academic difficulties, workplace challenges, or life transitions.

Each person’s journey is unique. My role is to guide, support, and equip you with effective strategies.

Integrative and Client-Centered Therapy

As a therapist, I combine different therapeutic approaches. My work is deeply rooted in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centred Therapy. However, I also draw from psychodynamic therapy and solution-focused therapy. This flexible approach allows me to tailor therapy to each client’s specific needs.

CBT helps clients recognize thought patterns that impact their emotions and behaviours. Person-Centred Therapy ensures a compassionate, non-judgmental space for self-exploration. Together, these methods foster lasting change.

The Transformative Power of Therapy

Therapy is more than just talking. It involves deep reflection, self-awareness, and meaningful shifts in perspective. Many people uncover hidden aspects of themselves, often for the first time. This process can feel challenging, but it also leads to freedom and personal growth.

I help clients develop coping strategies that fit their individual experiences. Reflection is essential, but action is just as important. Small, intentional changes create powerful transformations.

Self-Compassion and Emotional Resilience Bonolo Mophosho Counselling Psychologist Rivonia

Self-compassion is at the heart of healing. Many people struggle with self-criticism and unrealistic expectations. I help clients build a kind, understanding relationship with themselves. When you approach yourself with compassion, resilience follows naturally.

Healing takes time, but every step forward matters. Bonolo Mophosho Counselling Psychologist Rivonia is here to support you on that journey.
