Bruni Physiotherapy – Expert Care for Your Health and Mobility

About Us

Bruni Physiotherapy is led by Corli and Garreth Bruni, a dynamic husband and wife team with extensive experience in both elite sports and private practice. Corli, a registered physiotherapist, obtained her degree from the University of Pretoria in 2003 and furthered her expertise with a postgraduate diploma in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy at WITS. With years of involvement in high-performance sports, Corli has had the privilege of being the team physiotherapist for notable international events such as:

  • Commonwealth Games, Glasgow 2014
  • Olympic Games, London 2012
  • World Championship Athletics, Daegu 2011
  • Fed Cup, Israel 2016

Before starting Bruni Physiotherapy, Corli worked at the High-Performance Centre (HPC) for ten years, providing elite care to athletes at the highest level. Her passion for movement is further demonstrated by her qualifications as a yoga and pilates instructor, allowing her to offer a holistic approach to rehabilitation, focusing on functional movement and recovery.

Garreth Bruni, also a qualified physiotherapist from the University of Pretoria, has a strong background in sports and orthopaedic care. After his community service year in Mseleni, Kwazulu Natal, he spent ten years at the HPC, where he worked as the National Rowing Squads Physiotherapist, travelling to World Cups and Championships across the globe. Garreth’s special interest lies in sports injuries and orthopaedic rehabilitation, with a particular focus on dry needling therapy and successful recovery from ACL and PCL injuries.

  • Ultrasound Therapy: Using sound waves to promote healing in soft tissues and reduce pain.
  • Rehabilitation: Customised exercise programmes designed to strengthen muscles, improve mobility, and prevent injury recurrence.

Sports Injury Rehabilitation

Whether you’re a professional athlete or simply enjoy recreational sports, we offer expert treatment for sports-related injuries. Our rehabilitation programmes focus on:

  • Injury Prevention: Helping athletes avoid injuries through strength training, flexibility, and movement analysis.
  • Post-Injury Rehabilitation: Developing personalised recovery plans for specific sports injuries, such as ligament sprains or muscle strains.
  • Return-to-Sport Plans: Assisting athletes in safely returning to their sport after injury, ensuring they regain full function and minimise the risk of reinjury.

Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal Care

From back and neck pain to joint issues, we provide physiotherapy for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, helping you improve posture, strength, and overall function.

Yoga and Pilates for Rehabilitation

Our holistic approach also includes yoga and pilates, which can improve flexibility, balance, and core strength while supporting injury recovery. These techniques are especially beneficial for rehabilitation and enhancing long-term physical health.
